What a fullset includes

A fullset (or 'complete set') means the watch comes with everything it originally left the boutique with:

• The original box (inner and outer)
• The guarantee card or warranty papers, matching the watch's serial
• Booklets and manuals
• Hang tags
• Where applicable: service cards, receipts, and spare links

Why it matters

First, authenticity: papers whose numbers match the case add a strong layer of verification. Second, value: a fullset watch typically resells meaningfully higher than the same watch alone, and sells faster. Third, story: a complete set preserves the watch's history — which matters more as the watch becomes collectible.

Is a watch-only purchase a mistake?

Not at all. Many excellent watches have lost their boxes over the decades, and they are usually priced accordingly — a fair way to get more watch for your budget if you're buying to wear, not to flip.
